Medium red in colour, there are intense aromas and flavours of fresh strawberries and tart cherries, judicious oak ageing delivers lightly toasted hazelnut and vanilla notes and soft rounded tannins. Easy drinking with great structure makes this a very versatile wine, it’s my parents’ favourite.
Super with coq-au-vin, and Ossau Oraty cheese.
The cool climate Casablanca Valley is the source of the fruit for this excellent Pinot Noir.
