Free Local Delivery
Superb Range of Wines
Food Pairing and Cheese Matching suggestion for every Wine
Get your cellar re-stocked with my fabulous mixed cases of reds and whites!

I am an independent wine merchant and educator based in Teddington.
I run local Wine Societies in Richmond, Teddington and Surbiton, and lockdown is not stopping us – tastings are being run by Zoom, with samples delivered to participants on the morning of the tasting.
I have a number of online tastings recorded on Youtube, so you can enjoy a fantastic range of wines at home at your convenience – France, Italy, Spain and the New World have all featured.
I run private events, and tastings for local groups (sports clubs, PTAs), and I have a corporate events business called Taste of the Grape. Every year I take groups of people to destinations all over the world on Wine Holidays.

Try my online tastings
Our latest online tasting is of classic wines from the New World. You can enjoy all of the tastings I have run since April, watching the recording on YouTube, and buying the wines – most available in half bottles.
My fabulous range of wines and online tastings can deliver a wine event in the comfort of your home.
Please take a look at my online tastings and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like any advice about wine, suggestions for food and cheese pairing (I know the Teddington Cheese range intimately) or would like to find out more about anything I do.

Commended for my infectious passion, and being the perfect link between winemakers and travellers, I was given the award at the National Geographical Society. The judges based their decision on the feedback from the dozens of clients who have been on tour with me.
Next Events in Richmond and Teddington

Our last tasting of Musar wines was in February 2010, and it’s safe to assume a lot has happened since then. The Hochar family have made wine under conditions of incredible adversity since 1930, in the Bekaa Valley where gravelly soil, altitude, and mountain shelter provide almost perfect conditions for the old Cabernet Sauvignon Cinsault and Carignan vines.
Wines will be decanted and delivered on the morning or day before the tasting. Because of the high value of the wines we are tasting I am limiting numbers, and may need to make a small charge for postage to addresses it is not practical to deliver to.

In our March tasting by Zoom we are focusing on two of the very best winemakers in New Zealand – Kevin Judd of Greywacke, and Warren Gibson of Trinity Hill.
Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc has just been judged one of the top four from NZ in the April edition of Decanter. We will also enjoy opulent Pinot Gris and vibrant Riesling demonstrating that Marlborough is far from a one trick Sauvignon Blanc pony.

How much longer can Burgundy hold on to its crown, when winemakers in the New World are producing wines of sublime concentration, complexity and elegance? We will make our assessment.

Not a 70s TV crime series, this is a chance to take two more iconic grape varieties, and enjoy expressions of them from their birthplace in Bordeaux, and their new homes in Australia, South Africa and Chile. If you have never tried a Hunter Valley Semillon, a real treat is in store….
