An IGP wine from Puglia, which could claim the DOC of the same name. To ensure full ripeness of tannins, the grapes partially dry on the vine, and a long skin maceration preceds a controlled temperature fermentation. Aged for 8 months in concrete tanks and 12 months in large French oak barrels.
Deep in colour with a complex bouquet of ripe berries, spices, coffee and cocoa. The rich, full body is complemented by lovely acidity and elegant, velvety tannins.
