Shiraz Riesling Lions Tooth Dandelion Vineyards 2017
This Shiraz is fermented on top of Riesling skins (left after pressing to make a white wine), allowing the acidity to lift the rich dark fruits of the Shiraz. Intense red fruits and a hint of lime marmalade on the nose, with cherries, blueberries and balanced spicy oak on the palate. There are lovely velvety tannins and a long spicy finish. This is a great value red, people love its approachability, and the spicy intensity it delivers.
Great with a shoulder of lamb, and a Comté cheese.
