Mount Pleasant was founded in 1921 by legendary winemaker Maurice O’Shea, widely recognised as a pioneer of the industry and the father of modern Australian winemaking. Over the estate’s illustrious 100 year history, there have been only five chief winemakers, with Adrian Sparks at the helm since 2018. Adrian has stayed faithful to O’Shea’s legacy in creating elegant, balanced and expressive wines, which celebrate the land in Australia’s oldest wine region.
This wine is pale straw yellow in colour. The nose shows intense aromas of citrus and lemongrass, with a hint of dried herbs. The palate expresses concentrated flavours of lemon and lime with a beautiful acidity which drives toward the long finish.
