This 100% Syrah rosé is made at the Cave de Pomerols co-operative in the Languedoc. The Syrah gives an intense perfume of strawberry and cassis, with a structured but very fruity and lightly spicy palate. A great food wine, it will go beautifully with salmon and would be great with oriental food. A Cremet – soft goat’s cheese from Totnes in Devon – would be a lovely match.
