Bodegas Lan are an exciting and dynamic winery founded in 1972. They produce modern style Rioja, their wines are fruit driven, but they observe tradition in making their wines with requisite ageing requirements and using traditional varieties – in this case 20% Mazuelo.
Intense cherry red in colour with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and cranberry with hints of vanilla and toffee. Ripe, fruity, silky and structured on the palate, there is a lovely long lasting balanced finish.
Great with tapas, a steak and to finish a Curado Reserva (a bit like Manchego).
