Domaine Corsin has established an excellent reputation for making wines in Saint-Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé since 1864.
The Domaine Corsin’s Pouilly-Fuissé ‘Vieilles Vignes’ displays a bright golden colour with a hint of green. Its subtle bouquet shows notes of woody-vanilla, that add to the sophisticated fullness of the palate, and is underlined by a generous toasted bread character.
I find a creamy risotto is a great match for this wine. Fish and roast poultry of any kind also work beautifully. Morbier is a classic cheese pairing.
