Pinot Noir Heirloom Adelaide Hills 2024
£21.00
Heirloom Vineyards is a venture of Zar and Elena Brooks. James Halliday named Heirloom as one of the best new vineyards in Australia in 2011, saying the quality of the new wines is outstanding.
This wine is vibrant ruby red in colour, with aromas of cherries, red berries, plums and notes of forest floor, mint and spice. On the palate, it is well-balanced with natural acidity and firm tannins. The finish is long and lingering, with notes of mocha.
As well as the classic pairing of lamb, mushroom pasta pairs particularly well. Cheese lovers will enjoy either Gruyere or Taleggio.
