This is a fantastic quaffing Merlot. Bright red in colour with soft berry fruits on the nose, the palate delivers an abundance of cherry, plum and blackcurrant with a nice easy finish.
Great with any spicy pork dish – Rendang comes to mind, or a mouthful of Camembert.
Made by the Bergsig family estate, which dates back to 1843 and is currently run by the seventh generation.
