Brachetto d’Acqui Contero 2024

I have almost lost count of the number of times I have visited the Marenco family, who own Contero, at their family farmhouse overlooking the hills above Aqui Terme.  Every group I have taken there has been blown away by the warmth of their welcome and generous sharing wine, food and time.  It really is my favourite wine producing family.

Made from the Brachetto grape, this sparkling wine is delicate with a fragrant charm, revealing a full, aromatic bouquet of strawberries, raspberries and rose petals. On the palate, it’s pleasantly sweet yet balanced, luscious with a vivacious effervescence that captivates the senses.

The natural sweetness and low alcohol content make it an exquisite pairing for desserts, or as a delightful aperitif.
