2015 Cheese Course End-of-evening

Since 2015 I have run a Cheese Course at which we kick off the year by exploring the wonderful world of cheese and wine pairing.

My objective is to broaden people’s cheese horizons – tasting cheese that is in prime condition, and pairing them with the most appropriate wines.

I will provide wines to complement each cheese and we take a journey of discovery that encompasses a huge range of style and taste. Whites, reds, sparkling wines, sweeties and fortified will all feature and I can guarantee that you will taste an eclectically diverse set of cheeses. Cow, Goat and Ewe’s milk cheeses will all feature.

A New Focus in 2019

In 2019 I am focussed on finding the best cheese to pair with a particular style of wine. I will be expanding your wine and cheese horizon as we explore an even more diverse selection of cheeses that will pair with the full gamut of different wine styles.

  • All tastings take place on Monday evenings from 7.30-9.30pm at 222 Stanley Road, Teddington, TW11 8UE.
  • A minimum of 8 cheeses and 8 wines will be sampled each night, wines ranging in price from £10-20/bottle.
  • Plenty of bread, crackers and biscuits, and a generous supply of quaffing wine.
  • Course notes provided.
Cost: £45/evening or £160 if you book all 4 sessions.

  • There will also be some additional savoury nibbles to extend the scope of the afternoon (Vegetarian options will be available).
Cost: £65.00 per Saturday.
