Studio Rosé Miraval 2024
£16.50
Cinsault , Grénache, Rolle (aka Vermentino), and Tibouren in equal proportions result in aromas of red berries and stone fruits, and apricots, peaches and white flowers on the palate.
This is a really lovely aperitif wine, great with summery salads, seafood and also just nice by itself. A nibble of young mild goat’s cheese would accompany it very nicely.
New style rosés have transformed the Provencal landscape. Created by the likes of Château d’Esclans, who we visited on our tours to Provence in 2018, these barely pink wines still pack a fruit punch – wonderfully aromatic, and deliver a weight and texture that is both delicious and more-ish.
