1x Primitivo Rosato A Mano 2022
This is a rosato for food.  The strawberry fruit character is balanced with light tannins and herbal notes, and it has a lovely structure.  Enjoy this delicious, versatile rosato with salads, pizza, quiche, paella, Taleggio cheese

1x Rosato Alpha Zeta, Veneto 2022
Attractive aromas of strawberries and cherries are followed by vibrant red fruit character on the palate, with a slightly mineral finish. A foody rosé, this is perfect with a summer salad, some smoked salmon, and some Taleggio cheese.

1x Syrah Rosé Vignes de l’Eglise, Languedoc 2021
An intense perfume of strawberry and cassis, with a structured but very fruity and lightly spicy palate.  A great food wine, it will go beautifully with salmon and would be great with oriental food.  A Cremet – soft goat’s cheese from Totnes in Devon – would be a lovely match.

1x Rioja Rosado El Coto 2021
Medium pink in colour, with fresh aromas of strawberries and candied raspberries. On the palate it is fresh, with lively acidity and structured berry fruits. The finish is clean and crisp.  Perfect with grilled red mullet, and the Mahón cow’s milk cheese.

1x Mas La Chevalière 2020, Languedoc 2022
Have this in the fridge ready for a warm evening – ripe redcurrant and strawberry aromas on the nose and delicate fruitiness on the palate, combine with lively acidity and a juicy, refreshing finish.  Super with a simple veggie pasta supper or a Chevre Premier de Moulis (delicate goat’s cheese from the Pyrenees).

1x Grenache Rosé Willunga 100 McLaren Vale 2022
Pink in colour, this wine has intense aromas of strawberries, cherries and rose petal, followed by a savoury, food-oriented palate, with lovely tannins and crisp acidity.  The combination of fruitiness and savoury notes make it perfect versatile BBQ wine. My daughter’s favourite favourite cheese is the ideal choice: Rachel (a Somerset goat’s cheese from the Teddington Cheese). Willunga 100 is in McLaren Vale, a region we visited during my Australian Wine Tour in 2019.
