Frascati is ‘the’ wine of Rome, its DOC is just to the south of the city in the province of Lazio, with volcanic soils and cooling sea breezes.
This is a classic blend of Malvasia di Candia and Malvasia del Lazio, with small amounts of Trebbiano Toscano. Clean winemaking ensures a delicate floral character, with refreshing acitiy – a lovely summer wine.
