Richmond Wine Society explores Méthode Trad fizz @ The Britannia Pub

Summer is here, strawberries will be consumed by the ton at Wimbledon so there is no better time to focus on some superb sparkling wines.

Méthode Traditionelle is the theme – this is the method of production by which Champagne is produced, and which used to be called Méthode Champenoise (until it got outlawed!)

We have a fabulous tasting in store as we focus on some of the best sparkling wines the world can produce – outside of Champagne.

We will taste an eclectic mix of superb fizz from all over the world including one or two areas that you may not expect.

Italy, Argentina, England, France, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa will all feature in what will a glorious celebrsation of summer sparklers!

We look forward to seeing you there.
