Richmond Wine Society - Semillon and Sauvignon @ By Zoom

Not a 70s TV crime series, this is a chance to take two more iconic grape varieties, and enjoy expressions of them from their birthplace in Bordeaux, and their new homes in Australia, South Africa and Chile. If you have never tried a Hunter Valley Semillon, a real treat is in store….

Wines will be supplied in 50ml glass bottles, providing a perfect tasting amount. The bottles have screwcaps so will be in perfect condition for the tasting.

Wines will be decanted and delivered on the morning or day before the tasting to addresses within a radius of 5 miles around Teddington.

 Tim Syrad, who has 25 years experience of running wine tastings, runs Richmond Wine Society, which meets at the Britannia Pub in Brewers Lane.  Tim is a fervent advocate that wine is to be enjoyed without snobbery. Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced taster, there will be plenty to learn and enjoy.  Tim also runs the monthly Teddington Wine Society and hosts fine wine tastings and dinners in local restaurants.
