Richmond Wine Society - Portugal Now! @ The Britannia

Portugal has an amazing diversity of native grape varieties and wine styles, too numerous to cover in a single event. Too often tastings start with Vinho Verde and end in the Douro and Dão. This month will reveal the fabulous wines to be found beyond…. from regions such as Tejo, Setúbal, Tras-os-Montes, Lisboa, Bairrada and the Alentejo.

Tim Syrad, who has 25 years experience of running wine tastings, runs Richmond and Teddington Wine Societies, which meet monthly.  Tim is a fervent advocate that wine is to be enjoyed without snobbery. Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced taster, there will be plenty to learn and enjoy.
