Richmond Wine Society - South Africa's rich diversity @ The Britannia

We commence the year in beautiful South Africa, where wine has been made for centuries.

Our focus will be on areas such as Swartland, Hemel-en-Aarde and Cederberg, where young dynamic wine makers are producing wines of fabulous quality from a range of grape varieties not always associated with South Africa.

Tim Syrad, who has 25 years experience of running wine tastings, runs Richmond and Teddington Wine Societies, which meet monthly.  Tim is a fervent advocate that wine is to be enjoyed without snobbery. Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced taster, there will be plenty to learn and enjoy.
